Adding External Links
What are external links?
External links are hyperlinked text that link and direct viewers to webpages outside of your website. 00:13 of the video demonstrates how to add an external link.
Best practice tip: Set external links to open in a new tab. This will prevent viewers from being directed away from your page on the tab they are currently using, encouraging them to spend more time on your site.
Adding an external link
- Highlight the desired text to link
- Click the Link icon
- Insert the URL into the website field
